Last Day of School

The year is quickly coming to an end and to every teacher those words are music to our ears. It is always fun to see our students grow and change through self portraits. We saw several things for the first day of school but not much for the last day of school. Here is a cute last day of school memento for your kiddos to take home after a long year!

We Love Our Moms

This week we made Mother's Day gifts for our moms. I used card stock to put the Mother's Day frame on one side and the thumbprint picture on the other. My students loved drawing a picture of their mom and placing their thumprint on the back. I let them dry and then laminated them. Here are what some of them looked like:

More Mother's Day Fun!

Mother's Day is coming up and we have more free things for you! I love anything that is cute, easy, and not too messy. Have your students address this cute card to any woman they love. Then have them put their thumb prints sideways in the middle. Cute, easy and free!

Mother's Day Is On the Way

Our first activity for Mother's Day this year is here!!!!

 

My kids will each get one of these to draw a picture of their mom or grandmom. This is such a quick and simple gift to have them make! After they draw and color their pictures, they get to sign it with lots of love!!

 

I can't wait to see how their pictures turn out!! My kids' artwork always makes me smile! :) When they are complete, we will "frame" these GORGEOUS portraits on construction paper... And then we will send them home. What a very special and unique gift for each momma!!

 

We will continue to add new Mother's Day fun as the date draws closer!!
