Sports Day! (Field Day)

Hooray for the eve of Sports Day! Sports Day or Field Day in some places, is my favorite day of the year. I love to be outside playing, having fun, and being active. We have bounce houses, water games, class sports, indoor games, face painting, food, snowballs, and tug of war! What more fun could a person ask for? To make it even better, the students who have not earned 4 or more of their monthly incentives (for not so great behavior reasons) are not allowed to participate. This makes Sports Day AWESOME! After a day of fun, the younger students (Pre-K to 2) get to cool off in the classroom with a drink and a snack and watch a movie. After that, what better way to wrap it all up than with a reflection of their favorite part of the day. I love to see their favorite events and they love to share them with the class!
